Trudie (Adopted)

We’re so pleased to be able to finally introduce you all to Trudie.  A sweeter, more loving, affectionate cat you couldn’t meet and she is just looking for her special forever home.

Trudie is approximately 1 year old and came to us as a stray cat.  She has since had a litter of kittens with us and will soon be ready to leave them behind and start her new journey.  As a result she isn’t ready for immediately leaving Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue but will be ready in a couple of weeks so we would like to try and find her forever home for her to move onto at that time.

Trudie will suit a mutlitude of different homes from adult only, working from home, family homes, etc.  She has a fantasticly good all round nature and her character is very chilled and laid back and she just takes life as it comes.

She absolutley loves her cuddles and tummy rubs and enjoys some grooming time too. She’s also one of the best at making us feel guilty at putting her back in her pen once her exercise time is over with those….. “awwww” eyes she makes.

You truly couldn’t wish for a more well rounded little cat.

Trudie will be happy with both an Indoor / Outdoor home or an Indoor Only home where there is sufficient stimulation to keep her physically and mentally happy.

We don’t know how Trudie is with dogs and we would probably recommend children over the age of 5years.

Trudie is good with other cats at the shelter but we’re unsure how she would cope joining an existing cat in the home.  She would however make a good candidate to have as a first cat with a view to adding a 2nd at a later date if this was your long term goal.  (minimum 12 months)

Trudie will be microchipped, vaccinated, neutered and up to date on all flea and worm treatments on leaving Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue.

Max (Adopted)

Looking for fun loving?  playful? cheeky? and full of mischief?  Then Max is your man!!

Max is approximately 5 months old and is simply awesome!!  He’s great for the cat mad as he gives you so much loving and fun for 2 cats let alone 1.

Always on the move and always uber friendly and into everything Max is just a big kid in a wee furry body.  He see’s life every day as a kid see’s popping into a sweetie or toy shop.  It’s Awesome!!

Getting the idea?   Max is a very bubbly, happy, bouncy wee kitten who truly deserves the best in life.

He’s found himself here through no fault of his own just circumstance and has quickly proven himself to be a firm favourite with every volunteer.  To be fair I’m surprised one of them hasn’t snapped him up already!! 😉

With his fun loving, no fear attitude we would like to see Max move onto an indoor only home.  He just doesn’t have the smarts to deal with outside danger as everything he see’s is a game.  Some cats are born wary and with life skills to cope outside. Max isn’t one of them!

Max would do well in a variety of households though we wouldn’t recommend children under the age of 6 or 7 simply due to his slightly exciteable nature.   Adult only homes are also perfect and he would be probably be great with children once he’s calmed down in a couple of years as he grows.

We are pretty sure the first people to meet Max and be drawn to his cheeky charm will snap him up.  He truly is a little star.

Vader (Adopted)

Vader is a lovely lovely boy and if we had room for another “pet” he would be one of the first I’d choose as he has such a wonderful personality.  He’s found himself at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue through no fault of his own and purely down to the circumstances of his previous owner.

Vader is super chilled, very laid back about life and just rolls with life.  He loves a good play and enjoys his treats but most of all he enjoys his cuddles and fuss and just watching what you’re up to.

A typical neutered tom he has an amazing personality and we’re sure that the first people to meet Vader won’t fail to be bowled over by his charm and smooth purring to find himself a home.

Vader has always been an indoor cat and as such we are seeking an indoor only home for him.  We may consider homes with secure gardens well away from busy traffic routes and cut throughs if suitable.

Vader is good with other cats having come from the same home as Solo and Lexi and we feel he would be equally suited to a family home with children used to cats, or to that of an adult only scenario so long as there were plenty of cuddles, play and treats on offer.

Vader is neutered and will be vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on all flea and worm treatments on leaving Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue.

Polly & Lulu. (Adopted)

As you will see from their pictures Polly & Lulu are 2 very gorgeous tabby & white girls.    They are approximately 2 years old and are seeking an indoor only home.

The girls have been with us for a considerable length of time due to a food intolerance.  We have undergone a number of food trials to find the right food combination for them and having remained problem free for over 5 months we believe it is time to let them find love in a new home.

Polly

They truly are 2 of the most intelligent, loving little cats you could ever meet with natures so sweet, gentle & tactile they make the most amazing companions.  The girls are very devoted to one another and do everything together and as a result we will not consider splitting them.  Both girls have very playful, cheeky natures and just love to run around, play and especially love food puzzles and just generally having fun.

They love to cuddle in at night and snuggle in for lap time, especially Lulu who is the slightly cuddlier of the duo.  Though at times it can be very hard to tell them apart on temperament or looks.  If you look closely however you will see some slight differences.

They would be better suited to either a family home with older children who can understand the ‘no treats’ rule or to an adult only home.   They must however be kept indoors at all times.  They require to be fed the Royal Canin Digestive Comfort food which is readily available online and at some pet stores too.
